Atomic Cantina was very proud to open our doors on May 5, 2003.  We are a neighborhood bar located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque New Mexico.  The atmosphere of the Atomic is very laid back, all are welcome as there is not a dress code or cover charge.  We are the feel good bar of downtown 'burque with a friendly staff willing to provide prompt, quality service.  We host live music in the alternative / indie / punk / rockabilly vein 3-4 nights a week, host a great Karaoke evening on Tuesdays and a swing dance / rockabilly evening on Thursdays.  The Atomic is located on Gold Street between 3rd and 4th streets in downtown Albuquerque.  Our jukebox is stocked with your favorite punk, indie, and rock CD's and there is a pool table, foosball table, golden tee video game, and pinball machine for your entertainment.  Come in and pay us a visit!  Listed below is a schedule of what we currently have going on at the Atomic.  Also refer to the event calendar link for specifics on daily events at Atomic. 

 

SUNDAYS	Occasional Rock shows on Sundays beginning at 9pm.
MONDAYS	Chill with the AC Mondays.  Free Jukebox Monday evenings at Atomic Cantina.  Occasional Rock shows on Mondays beginning at 10pm.
TUESDAYS	Rockstar Karaoke Extravaganza every Tuesday at Atomic featuring DJ Kammo.  Voted best Karaoke in Weekly Alibi 2005 "Best of Burque"
WEDNESDAYS	Occasional Rock shows on Wednesdays beginning at 9pm.
THURSDAYS	Rockabilly Round-up with The Long Gone Trio and Slik 50.  Catch Albuquerque's best Rockabilly acts and get your swing dance on.  Starts at 9:30pm.  Occasional touring Rockabilly acts as well.
FRIDAYS	The Atomic hosts the best local original rock acts with occasional national acts performing as well.  See why the 'burque scene is getting known as one of the best in the country.  No Cover makes it a no-risk venture for you.
SATURDAYS	The Atomic hosts the best local original rock acts, occasional national acts as well.

Band Info / Stage & Gear info

Atomic Cantina hosts original music in the alternative / indie / punk / rockabilly vein.  Our stage is 10ft x 18ft.  We have a house sound person; provide the PA system, 12 channel board, 2 monitors, mics and stands.  Atomic Cantina is sponsored by PO BOY DRUMS, we have 5 piece drum kit available for drummers to utilize.  If they choose to do so, drummers need to provide their own cymbals.   All band members / crew must be 21+ w/ valid (non-expired) photo id, no exceptions.  Booking for Atomic Cantina is done via email --   booking@atomiccantina.com
